Kitchen Table: Five Hundred

The Michigan kitchen-table card game. No ads, no analytics, no tracking.

Privacy policy

Effective October 30, 2026.

The short version

Kitchen Table: Five Hundred has no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and we never sell or share your data. Playing against the bots and the tutorial stay on your device and send nothing anywhere. Online play uses a game account so the server can keep your tables, and you can delete it from the app at any time.

Your online account

The first time you open Play with Friends, the app quietly creates an anonymous account: a random ID, with no email address or phone number. You can choose Sign in with Apple to keep your tables when you change devices. Apple then tells us only that it is you; we do not ask for your name or email from Apple.

What our server stores

Online tables run on our server, hosted by Supabase. For online play it stores:

Other players at your tables see your name, your moves and the scores, never your cards. Reactions and who is currently at the table are passed along live and not stored. Anyone with a table's code or invite link can try to join it, so share them only with the people you want at your table. There is no chat. Supabase may also process technical data such as your IP address to make the connection, under its own privacy policy. Push notifications are delivered by Apple.

We use this data only to run the game. It is not used for advertising, profiling or tracking.

What stays on your device

The app remembers your settings (ruleset, sound, haptics, table colour), your offline play statistics, whether Full Table is unlocked, whether you have used the free table and the free Strong game, and your sign-in. This is stored only on the device and is deleted when you delete the app.

Purchases

Full Table is a one-time purchase processed by Apple. The app only asks the App Store whether Full Table is unlocked on your Apple account and stores that yes-or-no on the device. We never receive your payment details or keep purchase records.

What we do not collect

We do not collect contacts, location, photos, microphone or camera data, the advertising identifier, email addresses or payment details. We do not sell or share personal information.

Deleting your data

In the app, open Settings > Online > Delete my online data. Bots take over your seats, and your account, name, notification tokens and Apple sign-in token are deleted (the Apple token is revoked with Apple). Past results at tables you shared with others are kept for the other players but show "Former player" instead of you. Settings > Reset stats clears your offline statistics, and deleting the app removes everything stored on the device. You can also email us to ask for deletion.

Children

The game has no chat and no public profiles, and online play needs no email or phone number. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children beyond the anonymous account and table name needed to play online.

Changes

If a future version changes what the app sends or stores, this page will be updated before that version is released, with a new effective date.

Contact

Questions about privacy: support@clarkestudios.com.

Support

Email support@clarkestudios.com. Say which device you are on, which mode you were playing (bots or online), and what you expected to happen.

Reporting a player

At an online table, tap Players, choose the person, then Report. That blocks them on your phone and opens an email to reports@clarkestudios.com. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours. You can also write to that address directly with the table code.

How do I play with friends?

One person opens Play with Friends and starts a new table, then taps Invite to send a link, or reads out the code. Everyone else taps the link or joins with the code; joining is free. Empty seats are filled by bots, so two, three or four people can play. Choose "at your own pace" to play over hours or days, with a notification when it is your turn.

Your first table is free for one full game. After that, rematches and new tables are part of Full Table; at a free table, anyone who has Full Table can start the rematch.

Someone dropped out of an online game

The table waits for them. Anyone at the table can let a bot play for a player who has been away a while, and the player gets the seat back when they return. Tables are saved on the server, so you can close the app and pick up later from Play with Friends > Your tables.

Moving to a new phone

Use Settings > Online > Sign in with Apple on the old phone, then sign in with Apple on the new one to keep your tables and records.

I bought Full Table on another device

Open Settings > Full Table and tap Restore Purchases while signed in to the same Apple account.
